The Día de los Muertos Festival is produced by Bare Hands Inc, a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization. The celebration is unusual as festivals go. It is created and executed almost entirely by volunteers. Proceeds from the event support Bare Hands Art Club for homeless children at the Central Alabama YWCA.
